Pumpkin Patches around Fort Worth and DFW

Don't you just love fall? Especially after our hot summer, the cooler days and nights are so refreshing. And what's more fun in the fall than a pumpkin patch? Whether you're looking for the perfect pumpkin, a great spot for fall photos, or a full day of hayrides, corn mazes and family fun, there are plenty of places to enjoy the season around Fort Worth and the DFW area. Everyone knows about the amazing pumpkins at the Arboretum in Dallas, but there are so many more that are fun and family-friendly!

Here are a few worth adding to your fall calendar:

Hall's Pumpkin Farm & Corn Maze — GrapevineA longtime local favorite with pumpkins, a two-acre corn maze, hayrides, farm animals and plenty of fall photo opportunities. The 2026 season runs October 2–November 1. One thing to know before you go: Hall's is cash only.

Mainstay Farm Park — CleburneAbout 25 miles south of Fort Worth, Mainstay turns fall into a full-fledged event with pumpkins, photo spots and more than 30 attractions. Pumpkin Fall Days run September 20–November 7, with evening hours on Fridays and Saturdays in October.

Ruby Creek Family Farm — AuroraAbout 30 minutes northwest of Fort Worth, this working family farm offers a pumpkin patch, corn maze, longhorn hayrides, farm animals and more than 20 attractions. It's open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from October 2–November 8.

Timberview Farmstead — Fort WorthFor something right in Fort Worth, Timberview offers Saturday pumpkin-patch days in October with farm animals, garden exploration, games, photo opportunities and Hay Mountain. General admission includes a carving pumpkin for each family.

Pumpkin Nights at Howell Farms — ArlingtonThis one's a little different from a traditional pumpkin patch. It's an evening walk-through experience featuring thousands of hand-carved real and artificial pumpkins arranged in elaborate illuminated displays. The 2026 event runs September 17–October 31.

Clark Gardens Pumpkin Patch — WeatherfordHead west of Fort Worth for pumpkins surrounded by the beautiful grounds of Clark Gardens. The 2026 patch runs October 2–November 3 and includes pumpkin-themed games and family activities throughout the 35-acre botanical garden.
